THE END OF THE BUGATTI CHIRON

The end of the Bugatti Chiron is upon us. Only around 40 spots of the total 500 remain, and if you were hoping to get a standard Chiron, you’re out of luck. The last cars produced will only be the Chiron Pur Sport and Chiron Super Sport models, which cost significantly more than the standard cars, about half a million dollars to be precise.

However, your purchase, which will exceed $3.5 million, will be spent on more than just a car; you’re buying a piece of history, as Bugatti has now partnered with Rimac, an electric supercar company, and the Chiron will likely be one of, if not the last, internal combustion car made by the French manufacturer.

But the Chiron is more than a piece of art; it is also immensely capable. Bugatti’s Director of Sales and Operations describes the Chiron as an incredible machine. “This spectrum of performance, whether it be hitting the apex on-track, or cruising on Autobahns in total luxury, means the Chiron is on an entirely new level.” With a 1,578 horsepower W16 engine, he isn’t exaggerating the Chiron’s level of prestige and power.

But will this new era of an electrified Bugatti be as good as the last? Will the cars be able to compete with all the new companies coming out with 1,000, 2,000, and even 3,000 horsepower electric hypercars? Only time will tell.
