U-Haul Offers Free Storage to Northern Alabama Tornado Victims

U-Haul is providing a helping hand to those impacted by the tornadoes that hit northern Alabama last weekend. Residents in Florence and other nearby areas suffered substantial damage, with high winds causing power outages and structural damage to many homes and buildings. As part of its disaster relief program, U-Haul is offering 30 days of free self-storage or U-Box container usage to those in need. The offer includes drop-off and pick-up of containers for U-Box deliveries to residents' homes, while the traditional self-storage room is available to customers renting new units based on vacancy at participating U-Haul facilities. Chuck Newell, President of U-Haul Company of Northern Alabama, stated, "As our neighbors begin the process of cleaning up, we can provide them with a secure place to store their possessions." Those interested in taking advantage of the offer can contact U-Haul Moving & Storage of The Shoals. In addition, U-Haul is an official American Red Cross Disaster Responder, dedicated to helping communities during times of need.
